Verdict
MR RANGO attracted strong support at Navan on Saturday and showed that stamina was his strongpoint when getting on top in the closing stages and storming clear. That was over 1m2f and this trip should bring about even further improvement so he can defy a 7lb penalty. The Truant was returning from a long break when scoring very easily over 1m5f at Sligo last month for which he's been raised 10lb. Sequoiaspirit has been going well on the Flat and over hurdles all summer without winning but Stellar Storm could have got in lightly after just two runs in maidens. Lamprog ran her best race for some time at Tramore, her first start over this trip.
