In depth

Verdict

Mulzamm won at the Festival here and didn't look at his best from 7lb higher at Leopardstown last week. Out On Friday also scored at the big meeting and went up a massive 12lb, which not surprisingly stopped him in his track at the Curragh. He's been dropped 3lb and Colin Keane is back on board though he isn't certain to beat Acari, who didn't enjoy the best of runs in the former event, and is 6lb better off. The latter was well beaten behind Dani's Boy in July but Pat Fahy's charge was then put in his place by Mulzamm on this track. Ideal Pal is on his lowest mark since completing a double last summer though those victories were on good going. Siobhan Rutledge came in for plenty of praise after riding a winner at Navan on Saturday and can steer KARTAYAZ to victory here as she was on board when John McConnell's charge just failed to get up on heavy going at Bellewstown from 1lb higher.
