In depth

Verdict

Charles Byrnes has his horses in good form and All Those Years followed his easy bumper victory on this track with a very promising hurdles debut at Listowel where he just failed to concede 7lb to Jeremys Flame. Winning point-to-pointer Atlantic Shore was well beaten on his hurdling debut in December while Battle Of Midway disappointed in a Fairyhouse bumper in April after scoring at Navan. The latter is expected to do much better but Mister Fogpatches probably needs further so though vote goes to THATSY. Gordon Elliott's grey won a point-to-point at Lingstown in March last year and made a successful bumper debut at Navan in February when beating a subsequent winner.
