Verdict

Fosters Cross won last year's renewal off a lower mark but will be sharper for a recent outing on the Flat and can figure again. It was soft ground when Darenjan finished runner-up over track and trip last month and he'll go close with a similar effort on this faster surface. LAGANBANK went up 13lb for his win at Tipperary in July but wasn't beaten far off today's mark on his latest start and can return to winning ways. He'll need to reverse latest running at Ballinrobe with Fantastic Gold but the latter has been beaten over hurdles since while Muzak beat Boxer Beat at the same track last month and is upped in class for this.
