In depth

Verdict

Osana was bouncing back from a very long losing spell when seeing off Sports Line on heavy ground at Ballinrobe last month. The runner-up is better off at the weights but the winner won convincingly and should confirm the form. FOSTERS CROSS hasn't had much luck over fences but arrives here in excellent shape having finished runner-up to Galway Hurdle winner Rebel Fitz over timber at Cork last month. He's 9lb lower over fences than hurdles and should be good enough for this. Clara More has also been going well over hurdles and there should be more to come from him over the bigger obstacles while Paddy O Dee showed his liking for this track and trip when landing a tough handicap at the Festival though he's 11lb higher now.
