Verdict

Some promising sorts clash returning for a first run of the campaign so much will depend on respective fitness levels. However, COLONEL MUSTARD (NAP) was a fine standard bearer for Lorna Fowler last season, winning his Punchestown bumper in grand style before placing behind Echoes In Rain at Grade 2 and Grade 1 level - that form sets the standard. Gortmillish represents the Elliott stable and comes here off the back of strong bumper efforts. He's a potentially exciting hurdling recruit and likewise Harry Alonzo, winner of a Leopardstown bumper and second in two good Fairyhouse bumpers.
