Firstman can race off the same mark as when landing a claimer over a shorter trip at Dundalk while Rock On Pedro went close to opening his account when narrowly beaten at Thurles recently. Sweet November came good with a victory at Gowran a week ago but is 8lb higher and preference is for WONDER SPIRIT, who finished third on the same card. That was his first start in cheekpieces and further progress looks likely from Noel Meade’s charge over this extra distance with the headgear remaining in place.
