Verdict

Adonis and Anchorage both ran green on debut but the latter showed the greater promise, staying on in the closing stages at Naas, and he may well reverse that form with runner-up I Am Magic. DUKE DE SESSA is a half-brother to a 1m2f winner and represents Dermot Weld, who has won this race six times in the last 10 years including 12 months ago. He is likely to be fully primed so gets the nod with Global Energy and Mctigue other newcomers who catch the eye.
