Verdict

Pakens Rock has improved massively since dropping down to an extended 2m on this track winning very easily the last twice so it's a surprise to see him back to this trip. Foveros, a winner on the Flat in heavy going in France, has done well to score twice on faster going over timber including over this track and trip last time. He'll need to step-up again to cope with stable companion QUARTZ DU RHEU, who had no problems seeing off two rivals at Downpatrick and looking a nice prospect in the process. Another four-year-old Advanced Virgo, beat a huge field of maidens over the minimum on good going at Navan but will find this much tougher as will Take A Turn, who completed a double at a lower level in the spring.
