Casela Park is in fine shape at present but continues to climb the ratings without winning. Mejd was in the lead when falling over hurdles at Kilbeggan last time but his last success on the Flat came at Chester from just 1lb lower. Solent Ridge was beaten a couple of lengths by Iron Major in a Dundalk claimer but the winner franked the form when scoring here on Tuesday and Ger Lyons' charge has a cracking chance here. However, Ted Dolly was less than a length behind Iron Major two days ago and today's weights suggest he has the beating of Solent Ridge and looks a threat to all. Maal found 1m4f much too far at Wexford after scoring over this trip at Bellewstown but the one to be on is ROCK CRITIC, who hasn't been seen since September but who landed a handicap at this fixture last year by eight lengths on his return from a long break and has obviously been saved for this. Barrow Island was staying on over 7f at the Curragh last time and is better over today's trip.
