In depth

Verdict

MARCHESE MARCONI has plenty in hand on official figures and with his rider's claim a help he can see off these rivals, who are unlikely to match his Flat speed. The useful hurdler Whatuthink ran very well over this trip at Leopardstown in April and could go well though Rory O'Moore, another decent type over timber, looks more of a threat as he's won three times in bumpers. Benash has been going well on the Flat this summer and finished runner-up in a chase at Listowel last month so is certainly fit enough.
