SHARP FOCUS is improving rapidly and a 5lb rise for his Killarney victory is unlikely to prevent another big effort so he gets the nod. One Cool Poet had a run over fences after his earlier narrow defeats though this could prove on the short side. Passing Trade is consistent enough but has only won once and has gone up in the weights again while Dance Emperor has a similar profile, though looks on a fair mark these days. Blankiedoodie has won three minor handicaps and is 6lb higher though keeps battling on and Gavin Ryan's claim is a plus. Wild Shot completed a hat-trick at Dundalk in the spring and was only caught close home over this trip at Ayr last time.
