In depth

Verdict

SUMMER STORM has won twice for new connections after transferring from the UK and may not have stopped improving yet. He didn't look the easiest of rides at Thurles last time but Rachel Blackmore knows him well and the combination can strike again. Orchard Road arrives with a penalty for winning at Clonmel on Thursday but a claimer takes over the reigns so another big run is anticipated. That's A Wrap was heavily supported at Ballinrobe in May but lost a shoe and had to be pulled up so connections will be looking for compensation. Shek O Lad is only 3lb higher than his victory at Downpatrick so he's there with a chance as is Shabra's Bertolini, who is on a long losing run but perfectly capable of winning from this mark.
