Verdict

BALLY LONGFORD has run at this fixture twice, winning a novice hurdle in 2013 and this race a year ago. He's only had three subsequent starts and looks to have been primed to complete the double so is handed the vote. His stable also run Lord Ben, who has been unable to take advantage of a much lower hurdles rating recently. Devils Bride has also won over the course and distance and ran a tremendous race when a close fourth in the Plate on Wednesday. He had earlier just failed to concede 8lb to Mr Fiftyone at Punchestown so it should be very close between the pair again. Three Kingdoms was eventually well beaten in the Plate but wasn't given a hard time and it would be no shock to see him finish much closer. Mountain King hasn't run since January but his overall form puts him in the picture if he's ready.
