In depth

Verdict

Coolfighter has been alternating between hurdles and the Flat but is now on a five-timer over timber and has scored on the level at Gowran. He's in such good form that he has to be considered though there are some promising novices here. Oathkeeper has competed at a high level and probably found three miles taxing his stamina at Cork while Ballella Boy looked very progressive when landing a Downpatrick maiden. Electric Concorde couldn't quite make the transition to Listed company at Limerick but that was no disgrace and Joshua Lane bounced back from some disappointing efforts to beat some useful rivals, including Herminator, over two miles here earlier this month. None of the remainder can be dismissed especially SHE'S A STAR, and it's Noel Meade's four-year-old, who beat the classy Vigil at Navan on just her second start over timber, who gets the nod in an intriguing event.
