Verdict

Lady Luachmhar, Becausewecan and Itlaaq are on the shortlist here with BECAUSEWECAN, who ran a fine race here on Wednesday, taken to collect this lucrative prize. Itlaaq appears to have been laid out for this contest since scoring at the track at the end of May. He has improved for being stepped up in trip and looks a typical John Dunlop type. He is consequently well treated and looks capable of making a bold bid. Lady Luachmhar is very progressive and will appreciate the cut underfoot. She is seeking a hat-trick here after successive soft ground wins and she will therefore enjoy the prevailing conditions and can go well. Becausewecan advertised his well being with a sound effort in defeat in a similar contest here on Wednesday and has won in testing conditions. He is well drawn-always a key point, and the stable are going well, as they inevitably do att his meeting. Becausewecan looks the safest option, racing off the same mark as three days ago.
