Verdict

Mark Johnston has won two of the last three runnings and lightly-raced Newmarket winner Novancia makes more appeal than her three stablemates. Antiquarium drops back in distance but remains 11lb higher than his earlier win at Headquarters while King Bolete takes on Dartmouth again on better terms but has six lengths to find on recent Ascot running. SENRIMA had little trouble making all at Haydock last time having won under Richard Hughes at Newbury before that. He gets the vote with further improvement expected ahead of the other progressive types Barreesh and River Dart, who both bid for hat-tricks. She Is No Lady and Black Key are recent maiden winners on the upgrade and worth noting.
