Verdict
This could well turn out to be a hot maiden race with a number of horses holding big race entries. Most eyecatching is Richard Hannon's half million pound colt Due Respect, closely related to the stables Guineas winner Tirol. Due Respect holds entries in both the Racing post Trophy and the Dewhurst Stakes as do fellow newcomers Gala Sunday and Liffey who are also bred to be smart performers. Al Jadeed and Wahsheeq have both run well on their sole racecourse appearances, with preference for the latter after his staying on third at Doncaster last month. This should be a very informative race for the future with potentially a host of useful horses on show.
