Verdict

Fongs Gazelle disappointed earlier in the week but she might be interesting if allowed to bowl along in front, however ZERO TOLERANCE comes here in better form and gets the vote in this finale. The selection comes here on the back of a fair second at the Curragh in a valuable handicap. He has hit the frame in all three of his starts this season and deserves to get his head in front. His best form is on a softer surface so he would need a bit of rain, however if it comes then he may prove to be hard to beat. White Deer has ability but hasn't reproduced it since changing stables; Count Ceprano is consistent at a lower level, whilst Speedy Sam is unlikely to get his own way out in front despite a good draw. Jagger has been in good form on the all-weather of late, whilst Sunnyside Tom needs to bounce back from a midfield run at York but may well do so now back on a quicker surface.
