    Verdict

Step To The Shears couldn't cope with the step up to Listed company at Newbury last time and faces no easy task here giving 6lb to his three rivals, who are all less exposed. GOOD CONTACT (NAP) has an entry in a Group 2 at Doncaster next week and handled give in the ground when scoring easily at Leicester last month. He looks the one to beat ahead of Yarmouth maiden winner Johnny Barnes and Make It Up, who hinted that he might be better suited by an extra furlong when second at Lingfield.
