Verdict

Just the four runners turn up for this Conditions Stakes and each of STAR ROVER, Desert Auction, and Grand Zafeen can be given chances with the first mentioned the preference this time. David Evans has saddled the selection to an unbeaten start to his racing career with this son of Camacho landing three races in good style. While his last effort ahead of Chicita Banana looks good form the lines from his previous two starts have worked out nicely and he'll relish these conditions. Desert Auction finished behind the selection on debut but has no doubt improved to be closer this time. The form from his penultimate start looks good and he comes into this off the back of a victory. Grand Zafeen was a winner of a quick ground Pontefract maiden on debut and although it was a good looking victory we don't yet know what he beat that day. Hairs Vital looks up against it on debut against these more experienced talented types including the pick Star Rover.
