In depth

Verdict

Opera Gift is a nicely-bred son of Nathaniel who wouldn’t need to be anything special to figure on debut. John Locke has finished second three times but is not exactly progressive. Mumtaaz hasn’t shown much so far but BLUE FLAME was too green to do himself justice at Wolverhampton last month. Wearing the first Godolphin colours, he'll be more the finished article today and is bred for this sort of trip. Stablemate Great Honour can’t be ignored having cost 190,000gns and Aaddeey is a brother to a 7f winner and is another to consider.
