        Verdict

Faithful Mount finished last of eight here last month and was engaged at Musselburgh yesterday, though his stable won this last year. Imphal rather ran in snatches here last time but was only beaten a length and has the beating of Gavlar on that run. Collateral form suggests he should also beat Inn The Bull but Chivers arrives in great form and on a hat-trick, though might not enjoy the quicker going. Stanley was beaten by Inn The Bull at Kempton in March but won last time at Salisbury and makes more appeal that Chepstow scorer River Dart. MANCINI can bounce back from a first defeat in three at Haydock as he should find this opposition much less taxing.
