Verdict
Recent Epsom winner CELTIC SIXPENCE has registered both wins to date over 6f, but Noel Quinlan's front-runner should have no problem with the drop back in trip. She sulked when unable to dictate matters on her only previous start over today's distance but will take the catching if allowed the lead here. Royal Bajan has won three times over 5f this year and is likely to have a say in this, but both Sugar Beet and Welsh Inlet have a bit to find with the selection on latest running. Whitecrest finally won her maiden on fast ground at Chepstow last month and it was only a low-grade handicap that Green Warrior won at Musselburgh in July and this is tougher.
