In depth

Verdict

Raymond Tusk finished in front of Favorite Moon when second at Ascot and the latter has since finished much closer at Newbury. Louganini won at Ascot before struggling in a Group 3 contest at York while Graphite beat Hms President by a head at the same track in August and the latter has placed over a longer trip subsequently. Champagne Piaff and Strawberry Rock face more difficult tasks than of late and so does BIG TEAM. But the Godolphin charge scored at Wolverhampton on his first outing since February and would have won by further than a neck if a gap had appeared sooner.
