        Verdict

        ALWAYS RESOLUTE won a higher grade contest over a shorter trip at Chester last month and should go close again having won in soft going over 2m at York last year when Orin Swift was well beaten. The latter wasn’t beaten far over 1m6f at Haydock recently while Land Of Winter was beaten only a length at Redcar and acts on the ground. Pleasure Garden struggled in better company on the all-weather having won at Chepstow earlier while Marlborough Sounds and Seaborn have both won over 2m at Kempton this year.
