        Verdict

        Sri Diamond, Secret Formula and Over Rating catch the eye here, with our vote going to Sri Diamond. The first-two mentioned are both trained by Sylvester Kirk but Kieren Fallon has been booked for the selection who is lightly raced and has left the impression that he could make up into a lot better handicapper than he has so far shown. Already a winner, though, his trainer's patience can again pay rewards here. Secret Fomula's sole win as a juvenile came at this time last year and she should be fitter for her recent Salisbury run. Eastern Magenta would probably need some rain to be seen at his best. Arguably, Michelle Ma Belle's best form is at shorter than a mile. The lightly raced French import, Loaded Gun, lacks a recent run. Goodwood Prince has had plenty of chances. A market move for the lightly raced pair Best Be Going or Over Rating could be interesting, while Toby Balding's Parnassian has been knocking at the door. However, today it looks set to open for Sri Diamond.
