Blue Citadel can see off Rattan and Leamington in a race that could throw up plenty of future winners. The Dubai Destination colt was slightly disappointing at Sandown on his latest start but he was at least staying on at the death of this race and with John Gosden notching up a couple of juvenile events in recent days, he could be worth a look this afternoon. Rattan is not short of speed. As a son of Royal Anthem, the ground is a worry and hence our reason for opposition. Leamington is a typical Mark Johnston front-runner. He attracted some support on debut so is watched closely in the market this afternoon. Border Owl has breeding that suggests that this surface should not worry unduly. Highly Regal may need more time whilst Cool Judgement has to forget a bad run here on his latest start. Blue Citadel is the recommendation.
