In depth
Verdict
Talcen Gwyn, Shank On Fourteen and Heaven's Walk look the major players and we shall side with Talcen Gwyn. Milton Harris' representative is running creditably of late and has dropped significantly in the weights over the last year. He showed some ability to handle some cut in the ground earlier in his career so off today's lower mark, there are obvious claims. Heavens Walk would not be out of the equation if the rain stays away but is a doubtful runner at this stage. Shank On Fourteen is in fair form of late but he is unproven on anything other than a fast surface so must be watched in the market. Sofinella has shown little in three starts this season but is still well in on juvenile form. Dancing Mystery has struggled to win for a while and is not sure to be suited by any rain. Meikle Barfil is still a maiden but hails from a stable in-form. Talcen Gwyn is running well enough to warrant some attention in a modest race and we shall nominate accordingly.
