        Father Thames Lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement; fine runner-up behind Shibboleth in May and ran well in defeat at York latest; must go well here.

        Triple Blue (IRE) Has been underachieving this term and returns after longish absence; others preferred.

        Venturer (USA) Has won twice on this track including over this trip (now 8lb higher); ran as if something was amiss latest and is worth a chance to atone.

        Hilltop Warning In excellent heart winning three of last five starts but has yet to score off mark as high as this.

        Cubism (USA) Has been out of form of late and likely to find this a tough task.

        Camberley (IRE) Landed competitive handicap at this track last term (now 2lb higher) but has been well below best this season including in blinkers latest.
