Resonant was given a positive ride to beat the odds-on Fallen For A Star in a Newmarket maiden last week and will probably try and make all reverting to handicap company under a penalty. But he's unlikely to be given as much leeway here as several of his rivals arrive off the back of decent efforts. Darshini won over a mile at Doncaster on his reappearance but FIRMAMENT should be suited by today's step up in trip and gets the vote. He didn't look very keen at Haydock on his return to action but that was a muddling affair and a stronger pace here should help. Laidback Romeo ran well when third at Ascot while Red Rubles won on the Polytrack three weeks ago but this looks a big ask for maidens Yamilik and Dark Red.
