Verdict

Gross Prophet can follow up on his recent success and score again at the expense of Roaring Forte and Summerstrand. The selection was in winning form at Windsor for which he has been raised seven pounds for. He has won off a higher mark on the all weather in the past and had slipped down to what looked like a fair mark. He duly obliged last time and looks more than capable of winning again before the handicapper gets a hold of him. Roaring Forte is less exposed with only four runs under his belt. He carries top weight which will make life tough but he does look like an improver so has to be respected. The same can be said for Summerstrand who landed a maiden at Newmarket on his debut but disappointed on his second outing at Windsor so is one to treat with some caution. So for the winner we return to Gross Prophet.
