In depth

Verdict

Uppercut came out best in a blanket finish over a mile here last month and should go well again despite a 4lb rise. He's fancied to confirm running with Yojimbo, the winner of a lower grade race at Epsom since then. Jungle Beat went close at Ascot last time and should be winning again before long and it would be no surprise to see Save The Bees make the frame once again but STAGE ATTRACTION is fancied to come out best. He was only beaten a length in a more competitive handicap at Lingfield in May and, with a claimer taking 7lb off his back today, Andrew Balding's charge looks to have every chance in this.
