        Verdict

        Swiss import Oriental Fox has started at a big price in both outings for Mark Johnston but has run well in this grade without being quite good enough. Beyond Conceit scored over 1m4f at Epsom last month but will need to improve on last season's attempts over today's longer trip. He had MOLDOWNEY back in fifth at Epsom but the latter was making his seasonal debut and first start for the Cumani yard. Both trainer and jockey will know more about him now and he gets the nod. Arch Villain and Cousin Khee continue to show good progress but the former is preferred as they both step up in class while course and distance winner Lady Rosamunde isn't out of this with a capable 5lb claimer on board.
