In depth

Formwatch

Akbar (IRE) In good form and stays all day, a little to prove from highest ever rating but should go well, one to consider.

Gallery God (FR) A little to find with Akbar but has improved since being upped in trip, should give a good account of himself.

Shamaiel (IRE) No doubts about her stamina and she may well make the most of her pull in the weights and go close to reversing the form of her May meeting with Akbar here.

Fair Question (IRE) Improved for the step up to this distance at Newmarket last time, but the balance of form gives him a little to find; the St Ledger could be a future option if he runs well.

Lucayan Chief (IRE) Yet to fulfil his potential and has a lot to prove here.

Putra Sandhurst (IRE) Stout galloper who finally got off the mark in a small field maiden at Newmarket last month. Although his confidence will have been boosted for that outing, he looks to have a little to prove here and is best watched.

Serge Lifar Although in good form, this half brother to Island Sound has a little to prove over this trip.

When In Rome Won a three runner maiden at Sandown last month and could be given a chance on that run however, on balance he needs to improve to figure strongly.
