Verdict

QUEST FOR PEACE won a Group 3 event over 1m4f here earlier this month when beating Dandino with Berling well behind. The Melbourne Cup is on the agenda for Luca Cumani's colt if he stays today's longer trip and he's fancied to do so getting a good tow round from the committed front-runner Harris Tweed. The latter is proven over today's trip and won't be easy to get past as collateral form gives him the beating of recent Goodwood Cup fourth Electrolyser. The much-travelled Alandi was a high-class stayer for John Oxx before racing in Australia but is having his first start for nearly a year on his debut for another new yard.
