Guanabara Bay went close in a maiden race at Yarmouth last time and Pharoh Jake was narrowly beaten over 5f at Lingfield recently. Essaka has crept up the weights after a string of placed efforts while Beau Mistral has done all her winning over 5f so far, including her latest start at Brighton. Quite A Story has yet to win a handicap but LUCKY DI is back on a winning mark and Peter Hedger’s mare gets a speculative vote to come good again today.
