Verdict

Fairy Cross followed an easy maiden victory at Newmarket with a close second in similar grade to this at Sandown where she just failed to hold on. Bright Diamond was sent to Newmarket for her debut and came home nine lengths clear. Like most of these, she'll need to prove she handles softer conditions but she looks a smart prospect. QUEEN OLLY has run two fine races in Group company at Ascot and Newmarket since a winning debut at York and this slight drop in class can see her back on the winning trail. John Quinn's horses are in brilliant form and Breege ran well in an Ascot Group 3 last month so is also worth a second look.
