        Verdict

        Fire Jet won over today’s trip at Newmarket last month when narrowly beating Melinoe and Groovejet with Notice a couple of lengths back in fourth. Melinoe may handle today’s softer surface better than the others while St Mary's finished runner-up in heavy ground at Chester recently and could also go well. But GRACELAND drops down a grade having failed to prevent the progressive Sepal from landing a four-timer over 1m6f at Haydock and Micheal Bell’s mare is taken to add to this season’s earlier success at Ascot by going one better in this.
