Verdict
Romany Princess is a filly on a roll so she cannot be too readily dismissed, however ALSACE LORRAINE has probably been contesting slightly better races and she is preferred to Ocean Transit, Fantasy Princess and Full Of Love. The selection has not been rushed by her trainer and she is now starting to fulfil the potential that she showed as a three-year-old. Although beaten last time out at Ascot, she suffered plenty of trouble in running. Again, as a hold-up performer, the same may occur today, however the likely strong pace from this bigger field looks sure to suit and she should go close. My Aunt Fanny's best runs have come around the Roodee, Ocean Transit has been holding her form well since a poor Sandown run in June, whilst Tottie has contested some top races this year but it might be worrying that connections turn to the blinkers. Club Tahiti won't be far away if she reacts positively to her first run away from Newbury as her form stacks up well, whilst Queen Martha is a progressive filly who just found Listed company too warm last time out. Full Of Love was startlingly well-handicapped at the start of the season and has performed well since; she was one place behind Ocean Transit last time, and one place in-front of Club Tahiti. Atabaas Allure is a battler who still looks feasibly treated, whilst Perfect Friend still has stamina for this sort of trip to prove. Not an easy puzzle to work out, however it is Alsace Lorraine who can continue her progression.
