Nonrunner
The Hannon yard has won three of the last seven and Mark Johnston trained the winner a year ago. Both are very well represented here with Chepstow winner Dubai's Secret possibly the best of the former's two runners. Montsarrat arrives with a penalty for last week's very easy victory in a Catterick nursery and William Buick's presence again suggests he could be the best of the Johnston trio while Frankie rides Melabi for William Haggas and his mount stayed on strongly to score over 6f at Doncaster. FAST AND FURIOUS (NAP) looks just the type for this and his trainer wouldn't be sending him on the long journey from Yorkshire without good reason. He's been progressing with each run and crying out for this extra furlong so looks the one to be on. Essenaitch was sent to Ascot for a Listed contest on Saturday after scoring on soft ground at Windsor and certainly didn't disgrace himself despite finishing last of four.
