Verdict

Peregrine Run is still chasing his 18th career victory but isn't suited by the race conditions carrying penalties for his Grade 3 victories since last April. Easy Game's narrow defeat by Faugheen in the Grade 1 Flogas at Leopardstown in February was a superb effort and he arrives in top form having had a comfortable victory at Tramore. Gordon Elliott's pair Hardline and The Storyteller are on the same mark with preference just for the latter, who is race-fit after victories over fences and hurdles at Galway. Henry De Bromhead also runs two. Paloma Blue won nicely at Wexford though is held by Peregrine Run on their run at Killarney in July so this looks destined for PUT THE KETTLE ON. She did nothing but improve all last season culminating in a brilliant victory in the Arkle at Cheltenham and wouldn't be running here unless fit enough to do herself justice.
