Green Tag was a bit unlucky to be thrown out after finishing first past the post here last month and was only headed close home when attempting to gain compensation at Roscommon a few days later. He's sure to make a bold bid while Ubiquitous Mantle followed a very promising run at Down Royal with a battling victory at Bellewstown and looks certain to be in the shake-up. Ruler Of France produced two fine runs on soft ground early in the summer but didn't build on that on quicker ground at Killarney last week. He may just have needed the run to put him straight and rates a threat but Crafty Codger has run moderately when faced with fast going. FUTURITY has shown a bit of promise over 6f in strong maidens. She'll need to improve but has every chance of doing so over this longer trip and earns the vote.
