        Verdict

        MEAGHER'S FLAG gets the nod to go one better having chased home a very exciting Ballydoyle prospect over a mile at the Curragh last month on debut. That form could work out very strong in due course, and with normal improvement he should be hard to beat now. Family Tree cost plenty at the sales and is greatly respected while another pair of newcomers, Palace Guard and Song Of Dunes , are also worth paying attention to in the betting.
