Aidan O'Brien has won this seven times since 2005, though the last two years have provided shocks. Pennsylvania represents the yard this time but his owners will want to see more from the $375,000 yearling than he showed at the Curragh. Moritzburg's close third to Peace Envoy in a Listed contest at Naas is the stand-out form but he disappointed when tried over this trip at the Curragh and looks vulnerable. The filly Legitimus didn't quite stay a mile here last month and should do better over this trip while Epitaph may do better now tackling faster ground. Dermot Weld's newcomer Acclamatio is one to note but Ken Condon won this with a 25/1 chance in 2014 so a chance is taken with ICE COLD IN ALEX, who made an encouraging debut in a Curragh maiden that has thrown up a host of winners.
