This has been run four times and won three times by three-year-olds. Aidan O'Brien has yet to win it but aims to put that right with a trio of entries. Pat Smullen has a very rare ride for the stable on board TWIRL. She was behind Chrysanthemum in a Group 3 at the Curragh in March but normal progress can see her reverse form with David Wachman's filly and take this as she's been competing at a much higher level. Devotion has also been competing in Group 1's including in the Oaks at Epsom and the Curragh. She'll be more at home in this grade and looks better than the other Ballydoyle entry Soon, who has been disappointing this season. Shebella hasn't won since landing her maiden in March but she's been going well enough to consider while Aaraas failed to stay 1m4f at Roscommon and is much better judged on her two earlier runs over this trip at Naas.
