Verdict
Expecto received a hefty bump at a crucial stage at Down Royal but has yet to prove herself on this sort of ground. Tatum continues to improve and showed her liking for the conditions with a neck defeat at Bellewstown. She had earlier finished just in front of POMERIGGIO at Naas but the latter didn't get the run of the race and has the best of the weights so can reverse the form and take this. Koniag wasn't far behind in that latter event, his first sign of form, while Wesley Joyce's claim puts Highland Bells in the picture on his handicap debut.
