Verdict

Gordon Elliott has won this twice in recent years and Downpatrick winner Buyer Beware will be fancied to keep up the sequence though he was held when falling at the last in the race won by stablemate Tocororo at Ballinrobe. HANOVER STREET, who is by Galileo out of a triple Group 1 winner and started out at Ballydoyle, gained a surprise victory at Tramore earlier this month and the runner-up has scored subsequently so the form looks strong enough for this. Jaime Sommers made a successful hurdling debut over this trip at Kilbeggan then found an extra 3f too far on the same track while Tagg's Island has improved in his last two starts over hurdles though will need to find a bit more here.
