In depth

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won the last two renewals with Treasure Beach and Daddy Long Legs so today's representatives have plenty to live up to. BATTLE OF MARENGO made an eye-catching debut at Leopardstown, staying on from the rear once getting the hang of things. With Joseph on board he looks the pick of the Ballydoyle pair though Twilight Zone is by Danehill Dancer out of the high-class All My Loving who produced Thomas Chippendale with her first foal. Jim Bolger has had a superb season with his juveniles so Bunreacht, a half-brother to three winners, is definitely one to keep on the right side. Flameseeker was staying on at the finish on his debut at Naas and will know more this time.
