Verdict

Jappeli still looks well handicapped despite winning twice in recent weeks though both victories were on very heavy ground. The veteran Toufan Express is in good form and was finishing very strongly over 6f at Laytown last time so he should be in the mix. Angel Way was sent to Ffos Las to win her maiden but this is much tougher and PEPPARPOT is taken to gain his first success. He's not without his quirks and has refused to enter the stalls twice but was undoubtedly unfortunate at KIllarney last month where he was impeded at a crucial stage. Macnas has dropped to a lenient mark and should get competitive while Jumbo Steps would be worth watching in the betting if getting a run from his reserve spot as he ran very well in the race a year ago. The former Clive Brittain inmate Eljowzah caught the eye on her debut for new connections here a couple of weeks ago and makes her handicap debut from a lowly mark.
